Silica is an element of connective tissue.  Working against premature ageing, with a protecting action against conjunctive tissue sclerosis. It regenerates elastin fibres and quantitatively modifies collagen fibres.

Action:

1. Lipolytic: Its lipolytic action, Teophilin and Caffeine, this constitutes lipolysis activation by AMPc stimulation made by Organic Silica, and thus, no activity on phosphodiesterase.

2. Inhibition of Free Radical Formation: By orientation of triglyceride hydrolysis towards unsaturated fatty acid production. A reduction of elastin and collagen destruction is produced, with limitation of conjunctive destruction and its sclerosis. Reorganises cell membrane lipids, thus increasing its resistance to peroxide attack.

Applications: Used skin rejuvenation, firming and toning.
